SECTION. 3. The name of each property owner or owners and the
description of each lot or piece of ground fronting; or abutting on
each side of Waverly Street between St. Il'.arys Boulevard and the
I,aissouri State Hifhway No . 50 and the number of front feet ovined by
each owner or owners and contained in the lots or tracts of land so
owned and abutting said block or street between the aforesaid streets
and the cost price per front foot for said imDroveintnt and the
amount hereby levied and assessed as a special tax for said
improvement against each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting;
said Idaverly street or the roadway from the center of the intersection
of Waverly street and St. I'larys :Boulevard and the center of the
intersection of Waverly street and the 11,1issouri State High-,-lay ifo 50
SECTION. 4 . That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to make out
special tax bills in favor of the contractor Louis Brunner for the
within mentioned work in accordance with the Ordinances of the City
of Jefferson, Yissouri , relative to said kind of work and in
accordance the Charter of said City in regards to said work.
SECTION. 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
Lind after its passage and approval.

SECTIC11. 1 . There is hereby levied und a.suessed at the rate and cost

on the roadway of 11marine Avenue from the east end of old pavement
cast to cast end of Elmarine Avenue in the City of Jefferson,
Yissouri , for the improvement of the ro,-tdway Elmarine Avenue
aforesaid, including; such grading as may be necessary for the
reception of a. cement sidewalk, the sum of $ 2961.38 as the total
costs of the improvement of said street and the number of front feet
fronting or abutting; said roadway of said Rlmarine Avenue aforesaid
between the aforesaid streets amount to 759 .2 front feet; the cost
price per front foot is -� 3 .0008 for pavement and $0 .90 per foot for
cement concrete curb and gutter.
SECTION. 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of said
roadway of Elmarine from the East end of old pavement East to the
.Fast end of Elmarine Avenue , there is hereby levied and assessed the
suer of $3.0008 for pavement a.nd $0.90 per foot for curb and gutter
,,as a special tax a.ga.inst each front foot of ground fronting.*, or a
abutting; said roadway of Elmarine Avenue between the aforesaid
streets , and contained in such lot or piece ofj ground. fronting or
