the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson 1925, be and the same
Is hereby repealed and the following two new Sections enacted in
lieu thereof, to be known as Section 89 and Section 90.
SECTION. 89. The Building Inspector shall in addition to his duties
hereinbefore in this Chapter pointed out and described, be and is
hereby made ex-officio Sewer Commissioner and he shall perform the
duties of such Sewer Commissioner as prescribed in the Chapter on
Sewers.
SECTION. 90. The Building Inspector of the City of Jefferson shall
be appointed by the Mayor. , by and with the advice and consent of the
majority of the members elected to the City Council, shall hold his
office for a term of two (2) years and until his successor be appoint
ed and qualified, and shall receive an annual salary of 41200.00
dollars, payablein equal monthly installments.
SECTION. 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION. 3. This Ordinance shall be in effect from and after the
date of its passage and approval.

NO. 32-2. AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE MONEY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION. I. There is hereby appropriated out of any money: in the
City Treasury not otherwise appropriated chargable to the Revenue
Fund the sum of - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 979. II
SECTION. 2. For the purpose of paying City Officers,
the sure of - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 355I.00
SECTION. 3. For the purpose of paying for Street Work - - 305.96
SECTION. 4. For the purpose of paying Contingent Expenses,
the sum of - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 127.70
SECTION. 5. For the purpose of paying the Fire Department
the sum of - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 27.93
SECTION. 6. For the purpose of paying for Speial Street
Work, Vehicle Fund, the sum of - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 297.45
SECTION. 7. For- the purpose of paying for Special Work or
labor, Sewer Bond Fund, the sum of - - - - - - - - - - - - 363.98
SECTION. 8. For the purpose of Paying Plumbing Inspection- - 100.00
SECTION. 9. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
