BE IT ORDAINED BY T10 COUNCIL CF 'T'111 CI'T'Y OF JEFFERSON,
AS FOLLOWSs
SECTION. I . There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and cost
price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this Ordinance,
against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting or abutting on
the roadway of Aionroe Street between Dunklin and Elm Streets for the
construction of a cement concrete sidewalk in front of property
owned by Lulu Young Abbott, being; part of Inlot No. 826 in the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, the sum of $ 38.00 as the total costs of the
improvement of said street and the number of front feet fronting or
abutting said roadway ofsaid Monroe street aforesaid, between the
aforesaid streets amount to 40 running; feet; the cost price per
running foot is $0.95.
SECTION. 2. For the purpose of paying for said improvement of
constructing a cement concrete sidewalk on the West side of 11onroe
street between Dunklin and Elm Streets in front of property owned by
Lulu Young Abbott, being part of Inlot No, 826, in the City of
Jefferson, Ago. there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of $0.95
as a special tax against each front foot of ground fronting or abutting
said roadway of Monroe street between the aforesaid streets , and
contained in such lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting said
improved roadway 'in front of said part of Inlot No. 826.
SECTION. 3. The name of each property owner or owners and the
description of each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting on
'Nest side of Monroe street along said part of Inlot No. 826 and the
number of front feet owned by each owner or owners and contained in
the lots or tracts of land so owned and abutting said block or street
between the aforesaid streets and the cost price per front foot for
said improvement and the amount hereby levied and assessed as a
special tax for said improvement against each lot or piece of ground
fronting or abutting said Yonroe Street in front of said part of
Inlat No. 826, is as follows.
Lulu Young Abbott, Owner of part of Inlot Nc. 826, fronting
40 feet on Monroe Street by 54 feet.
Assessment 40 feet at $0 .95 per front foot $ 38.00
SECTION. 4. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to make out
special tax bills in favor of the contractor Louis Wolff for the
within mentioned work in accordance with the Ordinances of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, relative to said kind of work and in
accordance with the Charter of said City in regard to said work.
SECTION. 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.
