INJURING OF SAID CANS .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF Tld: CITY OF JEFFERSONt
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION. I . That permission is hereby granted to the Sanitary
Advertising Company for a period of Five Years to place on the
sidewalks of the strcr.tts of the City of Jefferson, hissouri , V. t such
places as the City of Jefferson shall designate, not 'to exceed
TViENTY-FIVE trash cans of uniform size and shape for the reception
of waste paper and refuse.
SECTION. 2. The said Sanitary Advertising Company shall maintain
and keep cans in good repair and condition and shall keep them
painted and in good order and shall keep the same in a clean and
sanitary condition for the full term of Five Years, but it shall not
be the duty of the Sanitary Advertising Company to keep said cans
emptied of trash and refuse; the said Sanitary Advertising Company
shall have the right to place advertising on said cans and may lease
and rent the advertising space thereon to any one it desires, and to
keep and retain all the proceeds from the said advertising space
SECTION. 3. It shall be unlawful for any person to willfully
damage, mutilate, 'injure or in any way disfigure any of said trash
or refuse cans and any person damaging, injuring, defacing mutila-
ting or in any way molesting or disfiguring; any of said cans afore-
said, shall, upon conviction thereof, be deemed guilty of Misdemeanor
and shall be punished by a fine of not less than $1.00 nor more
than 0100.00.
SECTION. 4. This Ordinance shall be in force and take effect from
and after the date of its passage and approval.

N0. 3239. AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARY OF THE STREET COMMISSIONER.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION. I. The Salary of the Street Commissioner of Jefferson City
shall: be the sum of 92700.00 dollars per year to be paid in
equal monthly installments out of any funds expended in the vehicle
fund.

SECTION. 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
OEM this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION. 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after* the date of its passage and approval.
