said roadway of said Monroe Street aforesaid, between the aforesaid
streets amount to 61.0 running feet; the cost price per running
foot is $0.96.
SECTION. 2. For the purpose of paying for said improvement of said
sidewalk there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of $0.96 as a
special tax against each front foot of ground or abutting said
roadway of Yonroe street between the aforesaid streets, and contained
in such lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting said improved
side=walk.
SECTION. 3. The n,,me of each property owner or owners and the descrip-
tion of each lot or piece of ground fronting; or abutting on East
side of Monroe Street between Tyler Street and Woodlawn Avenue and
the number of front feet owned by each owner or owners and contained
in the lots or tracts of land so owned and abutting said block or
Street between the aforesaid streets and the cost price per front
foot for said improvement and the amount hereby levied and assessed
as a special tax for said improvement against each lot or piece of
ground fronting or abutting said 1,onroe Street between Tyler Street
and Woodlawn Avenue is as follows;

SECTION. 4. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to make out
special tax bills in favor of the contractor Louis Vlolff for the
within mentioned work in accordance with the Ordinances of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, relative to said kind of work and in
accordance with the Charter of said City in regard to said work.
SECTION. 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.

AND TYLER STREET, FOR TIE CONSTRUCTION OF A CEII—ENT CONCRETE SIDEWALK
IN FRONT CF THE PROPERTY OF GEO. W. RUPEE ESTATE IN TIIE CITY OF
JEF-15ERSON, Y, ISSOURI .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF TIC; CITY OF JEFFERSON,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION. I. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and
cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this Ordinance
against the Pggregate lots or tracts of land fronting or abutting
98 feet in front of the South I/2 of lot 9 of a Subdivision of
ORtlots 11-12 & 13, on the East side of Yonroe Street between Hickory
street and Tyler Street, for the construction of a cement concrete
sidewalkin the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the sum of $94.08 as the
total costs of the improvement of said sidewalk and the number of
front feet fronting or abutting said roadway of said 2,'onroe street
between the aforesaid streets amount to 98 running feet ; the cost
price per running; foot is $0 .96.
SECTION. 2. For the purpose of paying; for said improvement of said
sidewalk there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of $ 0.96 as a
special tax against each front foot of ground fronting; or abutting
said roadway of Monroe street between the aforesaid streets, and
contained in such lot or piece of ground fronting cr abutting said
improved sidewalk.
