coupons have been fully paid and all of the terms, provisions and
conditions of the deed of trust securing the tiarie }1a.ve been fully
discharged and satisfied, the Trustee shall continue to hold said
stock under the terms and provisions hereof until all of the other
indebtedness of the Company has been fully satisfied and paid and at
that time this trust agreement shall terminate and the stock held by
the Trustee in its own name or other,;;ise shall be delivered to the
City of Jefferson City, Missouri, or to its nominee for the purpose
of enabling Jefferson City, Iissouri , or its nominee to operate the
Jefferson City bridge, more particularly described in said first
mortgage deed of trust, as a free bridge, instead of a toll bridge."

1711EREAS, it is now proposed that said Capital City iIirrhway Bridge
Company shall by warranty deed convey to the State of l,;issouri the
steel bridge crossing the I.:issouri River from the City of Jefferson
to Calloway County, Iissouri, described in said contract and in the
para,raph hereinabove set out, under certain terms and conditions
set out in said warranty deed; and
VREREAS, it will be to the advantage of the City of Jefferson
and the inhabitants thereof to relinquish to the State of lissouri
whatever rights have been conferred on the City of Jefferson by said
contrast, to the end that said bridge may ultimately be operated
and maintained by the State of 1issouri,

JEFFERSON, STATE, I :
I . The City of Jefferson hereby remises, releases and
relinquishes unto the State of 1,.issouri all of its rights under
said contract of February 25, - 1925, and releases said stockholders ,
said Y.K.Ba.ker, and said The First National Bank of Kansas City,
Kansas City, Missouri , as Trustee, and said Capital City Highway
Bridge Company from all of the obligations assumed under said contract
under Paragraph 2 thereof, and remises , releases and quit-claims
unto the State of T:_issouri all of its right , title and interest in
and to said bridge and the abutrients and appurtenances thereto;
Provided, however,
2. That this Ordinance shall take effect only if, and when
said warranty deed from said Capital City Highway Bridge Company to
the State of Missouri is delivered to the State of blissoari .

AS FCLLOVIS:
There is hereby appropriated out of any money in the City
Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of paying
accounts and claims , the following,-
REVENUE FUM), the sum of - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - $ 2744 .99
VEHICLE FUND, the sure of - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 426,48
PLUIMING INSPECTION FUNDy the sum of - - - - - •- - - - - 100 .00
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and approval.
