Mary's Boulevard, In the City of Jefferson, Missouri, be and is hereby established as follows; Beginning, at the center of Deleware Street and the North property line of Park Boulevard, where the elevation of the grade shall be, 1.32.27; thence on a uniform grade along the center line of Deleware Street, 472 feet, where the eleva- tion of the grade shall be, 135 .10; thence 38 feet, where the eleva- tion of the grade shall be, 135.10; thence 115 feet on a uniform grade, where the elevation of the grade shall be, 140 .70; thence 100 feet on a vertical curve where the elevation of the grade shall be, 147.80; thence 100 feet on a vertical curve where the elevation of the grade shall be, 159.60; thence 255 feet on a uniform grade where the elevation of the grade shall be, 195.50; thence 20 feet on. a vertical curve where the elevation of the grade shall be, 197.60 ; thence 20 feet to South gutter line of St . Liary's Boulevard on a vertical curve where the elevation of the grade is, 199.00. SECTICN. 2. , All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances contrary to, in conflict or inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. SECTION. 3. AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEaENT OF THE ROADWAY OF DELF1VARE STREET ,IN THE BLOCK FROM THE CENTER OF THE INTERSECTION OF DELEWARE STREET ANI) ST. MARY'S BOULEVARD TO THE CENTER OF THE INTERSECTION OF DELEWARE STREET AND PARK BOULEVARD IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSCN, MISSOURI, BY PAVING WITH CEMENT CONCRETE MATERIAL. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF TIE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION. I. Whereas, it was heretofore found and declared by the City Council, by its resolution, passed and approved on November I2th. 1929 necessary to pave with cement concrete material the roadway of deleware street in the block from the center of the intersection of Deleware Street and St. Mary's Voulevard to the center of the intersection of Deleware Street and.Park Boulevard and it appearing to the City Council that said resolution has been duly published according to the law for more than seven (7) consecutive insertions, in the Capital News a daily newspaper, printed and published in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and a majority of the residents owners of property along said section of Deleware Street liable for the costs of said improvement, and who own a majority of the front feet on said Deleware Street intended to be improved, have not filed with the City Clerk a protest against said contemplated improvement. SECTION. 2. That the said road of Deleware Street from the center of the intersection of Deleware Street and St. Mary's Boule- vard to the center of the intersection of Deleware Street and Park Boulevard, be paved with cement concrete material, curbed with cement concrete material and graded w)}ere nepessary9 in accordance with the plans and specifications submitted by the City Engineer and filed in the Office of the City Clerk, and that the total cost ofthe work aforesaid shall be charged and levied as a special assessment against the real estate abutting and fronting on said contemplated improvement, and special tax bills shall: be issued trierefor, .as provided in the City Charter, and in Section 822,8239 824,and 825 of Chapter 44 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri , 1925 and of the Revised Statutes of the State of Iissouri, I9I9, and amendments thereto. SECTION. 3. The City Engineer is hereby instructed to advertise for bids for this improvement.
