NO. 3275. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MIIS;;OURI, VACATING
THE TWENTY FOOT ALLEY LYING ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF BLOCK 3 OF WOLFF"S
SUBDIVISION, AS SHOWN BY THE PLAT OF WOLFF'S SUBDIVISION, AND
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR OF SAID CITY TO E)9,'CUTE ALL
NECESSARY INSTRUMENTS TO THE OWNERS OF THE ADJACENT PROPERTY TO AND
FOR SAID STREET SO VACATED, AS THE PARTIES ENTI`T'LED THERETO, AS
SHOWN BY THE RECORD TITLE TO SAID ADJACENT AND ABUTTING PROPERTY,
AND DECLARING A REVERTER TO THE RESPECTIVE OV114ERS OF SAID ABUTTING
REAL ESTATE.
WHEREAS, it has been shown to the City Council of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, that the owners of certain lots in block 3
of Wolff's Subdivision in the City of Jefferson, Missouri , as shown
by the said plat of Wolff's Subdivision, which said lots abut said
alley, have used and occupied, and are now using and occupying said
abutting and adjacent land so that said portion of said alley has
ceased to be of any use or benefit as a public thoroughfare and that
it would not inconvenience the public or the citizens of the City of
Jefferson to discontinue and vacate said alley as a public thorough-
fare, therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION. I . It is hereby declared that the City Council of
the City of Jefferson, Missouri, deems it necessary and expedient to
vacate and discontinue that part of the twenty foot alley lying on
the South side of Block 3 of Wolff' s Subdivision, in the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, is and is hereby forever vacated and discontinued
as a public thoroughfare and the power and right of reversion of said
portions of said alley to the adjacent and abutting owners, as is
provided by the Statutes of the State of Missouri, is hereby fully
confirmed, ratified and approved and the Mayor of this City is hereby
authorized and directed to execute and deliver all proper and
sufficient writings or instruments for on behalf of or in the name of
the City to fully and completely establish and guarantee to the
adjacent and abutting property owners their legal rights in connection
with the above vacation of said alley.
SECTION. 2. This �)rdinanee shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.

NO. 3276. AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE GRADE OF THE ROADWAY OF RIVER
LANE--FROM A POINT 123 FEET WEST OF THE WEST LINE OF POLK STREET TO
THE CENTER LINE OF PIERCE STREET.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TH1e,, CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION. I . That the grade line of the roadway River Lane,
from a point 323 feet West of the West line of Polk Street to the
center line of Pierce Street, in the City of Jefferson, Missouri , be
and is hereby established as follows; Beginning at the center of
River Lane at a point that is 123 feet West of the West line of Polk
Street, where the elevation of the grade is, 238.70; thence on a
uniform grade to the center line of 'Taylor Street, where the elevation
of the grade shall be 235.50; thence on a uniform grade to the center
line of McKinley, where the elevation of the grade shall be, 233.50 ;
thence on a uniform grade to the center line of Pierce, where the
elevation of the grade shall be 236.00.
SECTION. 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
