Staff Reports:
Dan Pillard reported on the condition of the course. He commented on the condition of
the tees. He said many of them did not survive the harsh winter weather we had. This was
due to the combination of not spraying to save money and poor species of turfgrass on
some of the tees. He said that in the past they did not spray tees and they usually received
an acceptable level of damage. That was the basis of the decision to not spray. Dan
reported that the maintenance crew is restoring and painting much of the old equipment
