SECTION. I . That the grade line of I:.iller Street from a
point 15 feet East of the West property line of Hamlin Street to the
West property line of Mart Street, where IIart Street turns South
from 114iller Street, in the City of Jefferson, 11issouri , be and is
hereby established as follows; Beginning at a. point 15 feet East of
the Viest property line of Hamlin Street, where the elevation of the
grade shall be, 200.00; thence on a uniform grade to the Mast proper-
ty line of Hart Street, where Hart Stru=t turns North, where the
elevation of the t.;rade shall be, 202.00; thence 40 feet to the West -
line of Hart Strect, where the elevation of the . grade shall be, '
202.00; thence on a uniform grade to the Nast property line: of Hart
Street, where Bart Street turns South, where the elevation of the
grade shall be, 189 .00; thence 40 feet to the ':lest property line of
Hart Strect , where the elevation of the grade shall be, 189 .00.
SUCTION. 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances contrary
to in conflict or inconsistent with the provisions of.' this Ordinance
arc, hereby repealed.
SECTION. 3 . This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force fron and after its passarre and approval.

KISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION. I . It appearing frog, the written. report of the
City Engineer, the Officer in charge of the work of construction
and completing se•;ver,, in Sewer District No. 31, in the Oity of
Jefferson, L1issouri , heretofore submitted by said Officer to the
City Council and approved and filed by it on this 7th. day of April
1930, at a regular meeting of the City Council held on this date,
that the total cost of construction and completing of said sewer as
constructed, amounts to the sum of $ 1973.40, and it further appear-
ing that said report of said Officer did apportion said costs against
the several lots or pieces of ground in said Sewer District No. 31
exclusive of Streets in proportion to the area, of the whole of
said District No. 31 exclusive of the public highways , and it further
appearing that the total number of square feet contained in the
aggregate number of lots and Nieces of ground situated in the said
Sewer District No . 31, exclusive of the public highways therein
amounts to 3529885.00 square feet . And it further appearing from the
said report that on proper apportionment of said costs such lots or
pieces of ground in said Sewer District No. 31 so situated, each
square foot of ground contained in said lots or pieces of oround '
in said Sevier District No. 31 is chargeable with the sum of
0.005607 per square foot,
Now, therefore, for the purpose, of paying; for the work of
construction and completion of sewers in said Sewer District No. 31
together with all necessary laterals, inlets, catch basins, manholes ,
and other necessary appurtenances thereto a},pertaining, there is
hereby levied and assessee against the several and hereinafter
described lots or Nieces of ground within the bounds of said Sewer
District No. 31, situated in the name of the respective name of the
owner or owners of said (lots or pieces of ground, a special tax at
the rate of $ 0.005607 per square foot for each and every square
5` foot of ground so situated as aforesaid.
