hundred dollars , payable in equal Monthly installments; provided,
however, that the salary to be paid said Building Inspector shall in
no event exceed the amount of fees collected for inspections and
permits in any one year.
SECTION. 2. All Ordinances ar parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION. 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
on and after May Ist. 1930.

NO. 3288. AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE BURNING OF TRASH, PAPER,
BOXES, OR ANY OTHER MATERIAL WITHIN THE FIRE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFI ERS ON,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION. I. It is hereby declared unlawful for any person,
L.:.` firm, copartnership or corporation to burn trash, paper, wooden
boxes, or any other material within the fire limits of the City of
Jefferson, unless such material, being so burned, shall be enclosed
in a screen or other receptacle properly covered to prevent said
material, being so burned, being scattered so as to become a fire
hazard,
SECTION. 2. Any person, firm, copartnership or corporation
violating the terms of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not
less than three nor more than one hundred dollars or by a jail
sentence not to exceed thirty days, or by both such fine and
imprisonment.

90. 3289. AN ORDINANCE RE-ESTABLISHING THE GRADE OF THE ROADWAY OF
BERRY STREET FROM THE SOUTH CURB LINE ON HIGH STREET TO THE NORTH
CURB LINE ON liCCARTY S'T'REET.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF T1M CITY OF JEFFERSON
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION. I. That the grade line of the roadway of Berry
Street, from the south curb line of High Street to the North curb
line on McCarty Street, in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, be
re-established as follows; Beginning at the center line of Berry
Street and the south curb line of High Street, where the elevation of
the grade is,173.72; thence 50 feet on a vertical curve, where the
elevation of the gradeshall be, 168.63; thence 50 feet on a vertical
curve, where the elevation of the grade shall be, 164.82; thence on a
uniform grade to the North curb line of McCarty Streets where the
elevation of the grade is, 142.00.
SECTION. 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances contrary
to in conflict or inconsistant with the provisions of this Ordinance
are hereby repealed.
