SECTICN. I . There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate
and cost price per front foot of walk as specified in Section 2 of
this Ordinance, against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting
or abutting on the roadway of East side of IvIonroe Street, between
Tyler Street and Woodlawn Avenue fronting 50 feet in front of lot
35 Wooderest Addition, owned by Arthur J. Kaiser, in the City of
Jefferson, 1"issouri, for the improvement by the construction of a
cement concrete sidewalk aforesaid, including such grading as was
necessary for the laying of said sidewalk, the sum of $37.50 as the
total costs of the improvement of said sidewalk and 'the number of
front feet of walk fronting or abutting said property aforesaid is
50.00 the cost price per running foot df sidewalk is $0.75.
SECTION. 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of
said sidewalk there is levied and assessed the sum of $0.75 as a
special tax against each front foot of ground including intersections
abbutting on said improvement aforesaid.
SECTICN. 3 . The name of each property owner or owners and the
description of each lot or piece of ground fronting; or abutting on
the above mentioned improvement and the number of front feet owned
by each owner or owners and contained in the lots or tracks of land
so owned and abutting said improvement and the cost price per front
foot for said improvement and the amount hereby levied and assessed
as a special tax for said improvement against each lot or piece of
ground fronting or abutting said improvement is as follows: Arthur
J. Kaiser, owner of lot 35 Wooderest Addition.

SECTICN. 4. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to make
out special tax bills in favor of the contractor Louis Wolff for the
within Mentioned work in accordance with the Ordinances of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, relative to said kind of work and in accord-
ance with the Charter of said City in regard to said work.
SECTICN. 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE' CITY OF JEFFERSON,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION. I . There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate
and cost price per front foot of walk as specified in Section 2 of
this Ordinance, against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting
or abutting on the roadway of West side of Monroe Street, between
Franklin Street and Atchison Street, fronting 50 feet in front of lot
26 of Hutchinson Subdivision of Outlots 6-7-8, owned by Chas Spencer
in the City of Jefferson, I11,issouri, for the improvement by the
construction of a cement concrete sidewalk including such grading as
was necessary for the laying osaid sidewalk, the sum of 437.50 as the
