in the City Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose
of paying Accounts and Claims, the following:

NO. 3311. AN ORDINANCE LEVYING A TAX ON PUBLIC GROUNDS AND PRIVATE
PARKS, INCLUDING MINIATURE GOLF COURSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON',
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTICN. I . There is hereby levied upon all public grounds
or private parks, including grounds used for miniature golf zourses
an annual license tax of fifty ($50.001 dollars per year.
SECTION. 2. Any person, firm or corporation operating
public grounds or private parks , including; miniature golf courses,
without first having obtained a license therefor, shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction be punished by a fine
of not more than one hundred ($100.00 ) dollars.
SECTION. 3. This Ordinance shall be in effect from and after
the date of its passage and approval.

NO. 3312. AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO CUTTING OF CURBS .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTICN. I . It is hereby declared unlawful for any person,
firm, co-partnership or corporation to cut, break, and in anywise
disturb any curbing or sidewalk in the City of Reff'erson, without
