HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD03315 1.07 upon the receipt of an application for a building permit made pursuant to and required by Article I Chapter 9 , -Revised Ordinances of 1925, of the City of Jefferson, Missouri , to investigate and ascertain if any provisions of this Ordinance would be violated by the granting of said building permit, and if his investigation shows a violation of the provisions of this Ordinance, it shall be his duty to make a written report of same to the Chairman of the City Planning and Zoning Commission and to the City,* Council. SECTION. 3. Any person, firm or corporation, who violates, disobeys , neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of th.is Ordinance, or who helps aids or assists in the violation thereof shall upon conviction before the Municipal Judge be deemed guilty of Iiisdemeanor, and for each off&nse shall be punished by a fine of not less than Ten ($I0.00 ) Dollars nor more than One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars, or by imprison- ment in the City Jail for a, period of not more than Ten ( I0) Days, or by both such fine and imprisonment , and each day that a. violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
