make out special tax bills in favor of the contractor Louis Brunner
for the within mentioned work in accordance with the Ordinances of
the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relative to said kind of work and
in accordance with the Charter of said City in regard to said work.
SECTICN. 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.

CTICN. I . There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate.
and cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this
Ordinance, against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting or
abutting on the roadway of IV,cCarty Street from the intersection of
McCarty Street and Hamlin Street to the intersection of 11cCarty
Street and Hart Street in the City of Jefferson, I,iissouri, for the
improvement of the roadway h1cC`'rty Street aforesaid, including such
grading as may be necessary for the reception of a cerient sidewalk
the sure of $ 1000.50 as the total costs of the improvement of said
Street and the number of front feet fronting or abuttin,; said road-
way of said McC?�rt,y Street aforesaid, )petween the aforesaid streets
amount to 799 .98 running; feet; the cost price per running foot is
1.2507 .
SECTICN. 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of
said roadway of 1:cCArty Street from the intersection of t:cCarty
Street and Hamlin Street to the intersection of VcCa.rty Streit and
Bart Street there is hereby levied and assessed the sutra of °x'1.2507
as a special tax against each front foot of ground fronting or abut-
ting said roadway of I..cCArty Street between the aforesaid atreet:s,
and contained in such lot or. T)iece of ground fronting or abutting; said
improved roadway of said LcC rty Street fron the intersection of
N:eC�rty Street and Hamlin Street to the intersection of IrcCArty .Street
and Hart Street.
SECTICN. 3 . The name of each property owner or owners and
the description of each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting
on each side of VcCart,y Street from t%)e intersection of I,:cCarty
Street and Iiamlin Street to the intersection of l.cCarty Street and
Bart Street and the number of front feet owned by each owner or
owners and contained in the lots or tracts of land so owned and
abutting; said block or street between the aforesaid streets and the
cost price per front foot for said improvement and the amount hereby
levied and assessed as a. special tax for said improvement against
