KNOWN AS SECTIONS 350 AND 351 , RELATING TO THE SATE .,UBa'CT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TIME COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION. 1. That Sectidns 350 and 351 of the Revised
Ordinances of the City of Jeffer...son, 1925, be and the same are
hereby repealed and two new Se.ations to be known as Sections 350
and Section 351 enacted in 1 eu thereof, and relating to the same
subject matter, and to reads follows:
SECTION. 350. Every person, firm or corporation
engaged in the business defined in Section 349 hereof, shall pay
to the City Uollector a 1.onthly license tax; said license tax
shall be for each calendar Month, and said payment shall be made
on or before the 15th day of the succeeding Month. The amount
of said license tax to be determined at a sum equal to one cent
per gallon of gasoline sold by such person, firm or corporation
during the preceeding period of one Yonth, ending as aforesaid.
Should any such person, firm or corporation fail to make payment
of the license tax as herein set out, said person, firm or
corporation shall, in addition to the other penalities and
punishments provided in this Article, pay a penality of ten per
cent per day for each and every day such Monthly payment is
delinquent.
SECTION. 351. Every person, firm or corporation
engaged in the business defined in Section 349 hereof, shall
keep an accurate record of all sales of gasoline, showing the
number of gallons sold, and shall on or before the 15th day of
each Yonth file with the City Collector a sworn statement of the
number of gallons of gasoline sold during the preceeding calendar ,
Month. The Uity Collector, or his duly authorized deputy, or any
person who has been directed by the Council so- to do, is hereby
authorized to investigate the correctness and accuracy of the
returns and reports required, and for that purpose shall have
access at all reasonable times, to the books , documents and
reports bearing upon the number of gallons of gasoline purchased
and sold.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
after the first day of July 1931.

HOUR BETV(EEN THE HOURS OF ONE O'CLOCK A. M. AND FIVE O'CLOCK A.
M. ON CERTAIN STREETS, AND PRESCRIBING A PENALTY." '_
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON
AS FOLLOWS:
That Ordinance No. 3350, entitled " An Ordinance to
prevent parking of Vehicles for more than one hour between the
hours of one O'clock A. M. and five O'clock A. M. on certain
Streets, and prescribing a penalty. ", be and the same is hereby
repealed.
