SECTION. 2. Within two days after the passage of this
Ordinance, the pity Clerk shall place in the hands of the City
t1arshal a certified copy of this Ordinance, and said City 1;:arshal
shall serve or cause to be served a copy of this Ordinance on the
owner or owners above mentioned, by delivering a copy hereof to said
owner or owners or by leaving it with some member of his family over
the age of 15 years, Makin; his return on another copy of said
Ordinance, which copy shall be filed in the office of the City Clerk.
SECTION. 3. In the event the owner or owners above nar:ied
fail to construct said sidewalk as above directed, than the City
of Jefferson, under the power and authority given it by its charter
and Ordinances, will construct said sidewalk and will issue a special
tax bill against said property for the cost of the construction of
said sidewalk, which said special tax bill will be a lien against
the property above described.
SECTION. 4 . This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.

SECTION. I . That a sidewalk of cement concrete material,
four feet in width , three feet back fror.► face of curb, on the North
side of Yiller Street, between Locust and Clarke Avenue and abutting
49.7 feet on Yiller Street owned by Herman B. Stegman and z)ophia
Anna Stegma.n, being the Bast 1/2 of lot 33 of a subdivision of Out-
lots 55 and 56, be constructed and built within thirty days from
the service of a copy of this Ordinance on the owner of the property
hereinabove described.
