SECTION• I . That <z sidewalk of ce:-.:ent concrete material,
Four feet in width , three feet back froi:l face of curl), on the North
side of Liiller street, between Locust and Clarke Avenue, and abutting
49 .7 feet on Yi'ler Street , owned by Julius H. Conratli, being the
East 1/2 of lot 32 of a. bubdivision of Cutlots 55 and 56, be con-
structed and built within thirty days from the service of a copy of
this Ordinance on the owner of the property hereinabove described.
ACTION. 2 . Within two days after the passage of this
Ordinance, the pity Clerk shall Mace in the hands of the City
u.arshal a certified copy of this Ordinance, and said City Marshal
shall ;serve or cause to be served a copy of this Ordinance on the
owner or owners above mentioned, by delivering; a copy hereof to said
owner or owners or by leaving it with some member of his fariily over
the age of 15 years, rnaking his return on another copy of said
Ordinance, lrrhich copy shall be filed in the office of the City Clerk.
SECTION. 3. In the event the owner or owners above narned
fail to construct said sidewalk as above directed, then the Cite of
Jefferson, under the power and authority given it by its Charter
and Ordinances , will construct said sidewalk and grill issue a special
tax bill against said property for the cost of the construction of
said sidewalk, which said special tax bill will be a lien against
the property above described.
SECTION. 4 . This Urdina,nce shall take effect and be in. force
from and after its passagre and approval.

Sidewalk to start at the East curb line on Locust street, be con-
structed and built within thirty days fron the service of a copy of
this Crd.inance on the o%rnC'r of the property hereinabove described.
