enclosed in a water tif-ht twelve guage steel tank, uo constructed
that the doors or outlets in said tank ca.n be :accurcly fastened, so
as to prevent offensive odor;a escaping from said tank.
SECTION. 2. Every person, firm or corporation engaged in
the work or occupation described in Section I hereof shall see that
said vehicles and the tank or tanks thereof shall be. kept in a. clean
fresh and sanitary condition, and shall keep the lid or lids onsaid
tank securely closed at all times except when it is necessary to
open said lid or lids in order to place the garbage therein.
SECTION. 3. All garbage' or refuse animal and vegetable matter
which shall be kept or stored at residences or business places
before being ha.iiled away and disposed of, shall be. kept in a tight
closed metal container, so constructed that odors or liquids or
solids cannot escape from said container.
SECTION. 4. Any pc.rson violating the terms of this Ordinance
whether as employee, employer or agent, shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be banished by a fine of not
more than one hundred dollars , or by imprisonment in jail for a
period of not more than sixty days, or by both suet fine and
imprisonment .

SECTION. I . There is hereby levied and assessed at the rp.te
and cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this
Ordinance, against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting or
abutting on the roadway of .Locust Street, beginning at the intersection
of .Locust Street and the ^southerly curb line on Dunklin Street; thence
along the roadway of Locust Street to the Northerly property line of
Atchison Street, all of said improver.•aents bein(z within the limits of
sprinklinf;, oiling, repairing, surfacing and resurfacing, District
No. Ten (10) of the City of Jefferson, Iltissouri , for the improvement
of said roadway of the said street aforesaid, by repairing, surfacing
and resurfacing, the sum of $1035.00 as ' the total cost of the
improvement of said street and the number of front feet fronting or
abutting said roadway of the said str:.et aforesaid, anounts to 1885.23
running feet; the cost price per running: foot is � 0.549.
SECTION. 2. For the purpose of paying; for said improvement
of Locust Street, beginning; at the intersection of Locust Street and
the joutborly curb line of Dunklin Street; Voence along the roadway
of Locust Street to the alorthe_•ly property line of Atchison Street,
all of said improvement being within the linits of sprinkling, oiling
repairing, surfacing and resurfacinCT District Info . Ten (10) , of the
