SECTION. I . That a sidewalk of cement concrete material,
four feet in width two feet beck from back of ctirb, or) the North side
of Dunklin Street, between Broadway and i+iulberry Streets, and
abutting 10 feet on Dunklin kitreet owned by City of -efferson,
I'Assouri , being Qity alley lying; between Broad•;lay,Liulberry,Dunklin,
Elm, be constructed and built within thirty days frog: the service of
a. copy of this Ordinance on the o •ner of the property hereina.bove
described.
SEC'TIC-J. 2. Witilin tivo days after the pa.,suge of this Ordia-
a,nce, the City Cl(-;rk shall place in the hands of the City 1:arshal a
certified copy of t'riiB Ordinance, and said City 1a,rsha.l shall serve
or cause to be served a copy of this Ordinance on the owner or owners
above mentioned, by delivering a copy hereof to said owner or owners
or by leaving it with sore meril.�er of his family over the age of 15
years, making; his return on another copy of said Ordinance, which
copy shall be filed in the office of the City Clerk.
SECTIGN. 3. In the event the owner or owners above named
fail to construct said sidewalk ass above directed, then the dity of
Jefferson, under the power and authority given it by its Charter
and Ordinances, will construct said sidewalk and will issue a special
tax bill against said property for the cost of the construction
of said sidewalk, which said special tax bill will be a. lien against
the property above described.
SECTION. 4 . This Ordinance shall ta.ke effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.

SECTION. I . That a side,;.alk of cerient concrete material,

of Dunklin Street, between Broadway and l.ulberry Streets , and
abutting, 1.50 feet on Dunklin Street owned by Edit}, Tanner, being lot
16 Subdivision of Inlot 794, sidewalk to start at the West curb line
of Broadway Street be constructed and built within thirty days from
the service of a copy of this Ordinance on the owner of the property
hereinabove described.
SECTION. 2. Within two days after the passage of this
Ordinance, the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the Oity L:arshal
a certified copy of this Ordinance, and ,3a.id City ;::arshal shall serve
or cause to be served a copy of tkiis Ordinance on the owner or owners
above mentioned, by delivering a cepy hereof to said owner or owners
or by leaving it with sore Merlber of his family over the age of 15
years, making; his return on another copy of said Ordinance , which
copy shall be filed in the office of the City Clerk.
