FOLLOWS:
SECTICIT. I . That a sidewalk of cement concrete material,
four feet in width, two feet back from back of curb on the north side
of Dunklin Street, between Broadway and hulberry atreets, and
abutting 34.37 feet on Dunklin Street owned by Henry 6chseider, being
the east part of Inlot 791, be constructed and built within thirty
days from the service of a copy of this Ordinance on the owner of the
property hereinabove described.
SECTION. 2. Within two days after the passage of this
Ordinance, the 'ity Clerk shall place in the hands of the "ity
Larshal a certified copy of this Ordinance, and said City 1arshal
shall serve or cause to be served a copy of this Ordinance on the
owner or owners above mentioned, by delivering a copy hereof to said
owner or owners or by leaving it with some member of his family over
the age of 15 years, making his return on another copy of said
Ordinance, which ciDDy shall be filed in the office of the Oity Clerk.
SECTION. 3. In the event the owner or owners above named
fail to construct said. sidewalk as above directed then the City of
Jefferson, under the power a.n(i authority given it by its charter and
Ordinances willconstruct said sidewalk and will issue a special tax
bill against said neoper. ty for the cost of the construction of said
didewalk, which said special tax bill will be a lien against the
property above described.
SECTION. 4 . This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
