SECTION. 3 . In the event the owner or owners above named
fail to construct said sidewalk as vbove directed, then the City of
Jefferson, under the power and authority given it by its Charter and
Ordinances will construct said uide,Ualk and will issue a special tax
bill against said property for the cost of the construction of said
sidewalk, which said :special tax bill will be a. lien against the
property above described.
SECTION. 4 . This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.

SECTION. I . That a sidewalk of cement concrete material,
four feet in didth, 2.5 feet back from back of curb on the South side
of Dunklin Street between Broadway and Lulberry Streets, and
abutting 51.1 feet on Dunklin Street owned by 1'_yrtle E, Edmonds,
being a part of Inlot 690, be constructed and built within thirty
days from the sergice of a copy of this Ordinance on the owner of
the property hereinabove described.
6ECTION. 2. Within two days after the passage of this
Ordinance, the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the City
Yarshal a certified copy of this Ordinance, and said City marshal
shall serve or. cause to be served a copy of this Ordinance on the
owner or owners above mentioned, by delivering a copy hereof to said
owner or owners or by leaving it with some member of his family over
the age of 15 years, making his return on another copy of said
Ordinance, which copy shall be filed -in the office of the Uity Clerk,
