FOLLOWS;
SECTION. 1 . That the present sidemalk abutting the property
herein described is hereby condemned and ordered. renoved and that a
sidewalk of cenent concrete material, six feet in width , 8.4 feet
back from back of curb, on the North side of I. cCarty Street, between
Yadison and Yonroe Streets , and abutting 54 feet 9 inches on I,`eCarty
Street , Owned by Mollie Guyot, being a Dart of Inlot 481, be construct-
ed and built within thirty days from the service of a copy of this
Ordinance on the owner of the property hereinabove described.
SECTION. 2. Within two days after the passage of this
Ordinance, the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the City Yarshal
a certified copy of this Crdinance, and said City L:arshal shall serve
or cause to be served a copy of this Ordinance on the miner or Owners
above rsentioned, by delivering; a copy hereof to said owner or owners
or by leaving it with sore member of his family over the age of
15 years, rsaking his return on n.nother copy of said Crdinance,
which copy shall be filed in the office of the City Clerk.
SECTION. 3 . In the event the owner or owners above named
fail to construct said sidewalk as above directed, then the City of
Jefferson, under the power and authority given it by its Charter
and Ordinances, will construct said sidewalk and will issue a special
tax bill agrainst said property for the cost of the constructicn of
said sidewalk, Which said special tax bill will be a lien against the
property above described.
SECTION. 4 . This Crdinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
