NO. 3515. AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STOP SIGN AND REgUIRING ALL
VEHICLES TO CMM TO FULL STOP ON JACKSON STREET AT ITS INTERSECTION
WITH DU:dKLIN STREET.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS
FOLLOWS s
SECTION. I. All vehicles shall be brought to a full stop on
Jackson Street at its intersection with Dunklin Street, before said
vehicles shall be driven into said intersection. The Street
Commissioner is directed and instructed to immediately install the
proper traffic signal to give notice of this Ordinance.
SECTION. 2. Any person violating the conditions of this
Ordinance by failing to bring vehicles to full stop as hereinbefore
required shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction
shall be punished by a fine of not less than three dollars nor riore
than one hundred dollars , or by not more than ninety days in the
county jail, or by both such fine and imprisonment .

NO. 3515. AN ORDINANCE TO PROHIBIT PARKING ON THE NORTH SIDE OF
C0101ERCIAL STREET AND ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE PUBLIC ALLEY BET111EEN
HIGH STREET AND ItICCARTY STREET AND PARALLEL WITH SAID STREETS, BETWEEN
ADAMS STREET AND JEFFERSON ON STREET.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL Or THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION. I. It is hereby declared unlawful for any person to
park any vehicle on the North side ,of L�omnierc;ial. street in any of
said 'blocks between Adams Street and Jefferson Street
SECTION. 2. It is hereby declared unlawful for any person to
park any vehicle on the North side of the public alley between High
Street and McCarty Street, running parallel with said streets, in
any of said blocks between Adams ttreet and Jefferson Street.
SECTION. 3. Immediately after the paflsage of this Ordinance the
Street Commissioner shall erect the proper signs to notify persons of
the restrictions of this Ordinance, and thereafter all vehicles
parked in said street or alley shall be parked as nearly as possible
to the .South outside portion of said street or alley, regardless of
which direction said vehicle may be headed and on the South side of
the renter line of said street or alley.
SECTION. 4. Any person parking vehicles, or leaving same
unattended in said street o•r alley in violation of the terms of this
Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction
shall be punished by a fine of not less than three dollars nor more
than one hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for
not more than ninety days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
