SECTICIT. 2. The driver of any vehicle who shall fail to comply
with the provisions of this Crdinance, shall upon conviction, be
de(,,incd guilty of a riisdeneanor and shall be punished by a fine of not
less than three, nor more than One Hundred collars.

M01',11-PTICIT AND PAYA-ENT OF CERTAIN BONDS.
WHEIU�AS, at a. especial election duly called -.rid held in the City
of Jefferson, I. issouri, on the 7th day of February, 1922, after due

notice thereof had been •iven of the time, place and purpose of said
election, in the manner required by law, it was submitted to the
qualified voters of said City, the proposition to increase the bonded
debt of said City, for the -o of reconstruction of the Liller
Street Tunnel in the dity of Jefferson; and

in pursuance of the result of said election, thereafter,
to-wit!, on 1:arch 6th, 1922, there introduced into and passed by
the Council, Ordinance INTumber 2118, entitled:' 11 An Ordinance author-
izing the issue of hiller Street Tunnel. fonds of the City of Jefferson
to the @.mount of 8219500, and providing for the payment thereof; and
on the 25th day of April, 1922, there was introduced into
and passed b,y the Council, Crdinance 11fumber 2127., entitled; " An
Ordinance amending Ordinance !dumber 2118 of the City of Jefferson,
Eissouri, entitled: " An Ordinance authorizing the issue of 1�11illnr
Street Tunnel, Fonds of the City of Jefferson to the amount of $21,500,
and providing for the payment thereof. "; and,
WHIEREAS, in pursuance of said last named Orn'inance, the City did
Issue $21,500 in five ( 51/0) cercent bonds, consistin�,, of forty-three
(43) bonds , each in the :gum of $500. , numbered one ( 1) to forty-three
(43) , inclusive, dated Yarch Ist, 1922; said bonds to draw five per
cent interest and to become due in twenty years after the Ist day of
liarch, 1922; and,

IMEAS, each of said bonds contains the following provision*.
"Both principal and interest of this bond are hereby made payable at
the City Treasurer's Office in the City of Jefferson, Missouri. This
bond is redeerable at the. option of the City of leffersbn at any time
after Yarch Ist, 1933.11

That the City of Jefferson hereby exercises its option to redeem
1""iller Street Tunnel Bonds, as hereinbefore described, numbered one
to fifteen inclusive, on Larch Ist, 1933.
The City clerk is hereby instructed to rive the statutory notice
of this call to the utate Auditor, at least thirty (30) days prior
to the Ist day of 41-arch, 3-933, and to furnish with said notice a copy
of this Ordinance, : etting forth that said Yiller Street funnel Bonds
one to fifteen inclusive, have been called, and that the City will
pay said bonas at the office of the City Treasurer on parch Ist, 1933 ►
The City Treasurer is hereby instructed and directed to pay said
bonds , numbered one to fifteen inclusive, when the same are presented
for payinent on or after Larch fzt, 1933.
