SECTION. 1 . It aDpe,:i.ring fron the written report of the
City EnU.incer$ the officer in charge of the .-icrk of construction and
ccripleting se-..iers, in Sevier District No . 56, in the City of Jefferson
1,r4ssouri , beretofore submitted by said. officer to the City Council
and approved. and filed by it on this 6th day of Ir rch 1933, at a
regular rieetinp- of the City Council held on this date, that the total
cost of construction and completing of said selt,er as constructed)
amounts to the sun, of : 1642-37, and it f-urther appearing that said
report of said officer did apportion said costs against the several
lots or pieces of ground in said Sewer District No . 56, exclusive
of streets in proportion to the area of the wh6le of said �Jistriort
No . 56 exclusive of the public highways , and it further appearing
aggregate
that the total number of square feet contained in the aC, g
number of lots and pieces of ground situated in the said Sewer
District No. 56, exclusive of the public hi�,-hways therein amounts to
631,995-00 square feet . And it further appearing from, the said report
that on proper apportionment of said costs such lots or pieces of
ground in said Sever District ITP. 56 so situated, each square foot
of ground contained in said lots or pieces of ground in said Sewer
District No. 56 is chargeable with the sum of $0.0025987 per square
foot.
Novi. therefore, for the purpose of paying for the work of
construction and completion of sewers in newer District No . 56
together with all necessary laterals , inlets, catch basins, manholes
and other neces,.-,ary appurtenances thereto appertaining, there is
hereby levied and assessed against the several and hereinafter
described lots or pieces of [?-,round within the bounds of said Sewer
District No. 56, situated in the narie of the respective narne of the
owner or owners of said lots or pieces of Fround, a special tax at
the rate of $0.0025987 per square foot for each and every square foot
of ground so situated as aforesaid.
SECTION. 2 . Each-i of the lots or pieces of ground so mentioned
and referred to in section 1 of this Ordinance, against which a
special tax bill is specified in Section 1 of this Ordinance is
