AN ORDINANCE RELA`1'ING TO PARKING OF VEHICLES ON PUBLIC STREETS, AIM PROHIBITING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES AS HEREINAFTER SET OUT. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY• OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS: For the purpose of this Ordinance, the phrase "to park a vehicle " shall be construed to mean the stopping of a motor vehicle without a driver being present It is hereby declared unlawful to park a vehicle at any of the places hereinafter described: I. On the West side of Jefferson Street for a distance of fifty-two (52) feet North from the curb on High Street; 2. On the -%ast side of Jefferson "treet for a distance of fifty-two (52) feet South from the curb on High Street; 3. On the West side of Jefferson Street for a distance of twelve (12) feet North from the curb on McCarty Street; 4. On the East side of Jefferson Street for a distance of fifty-two (52) feet South from the curb on McCarty Street: 5. On the West side of Madison Street for a distance of forty-eight 4.' t: . Any person violating any of the terms hereof shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not less than three dollars nor more than one hundred dollars, or by imprison- ment in jail not exceeding thirty days.
