AN ORDIN NCE ESTABLISHING THIS GRADE OF THE ROADWAY OF CARTER STREET FROM THE CENTER LINE OF SWIFT'S HIGHWAY TO THE NORTH PROPERTY LINE OF FAIRACRES DRIVE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY .OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: MOTION. I. That the grade line of the roadway of Carter Street from the center line of Swift's Highway to the North property line of Fairacres Drive, in the City of Jefferson,Missouri, be and is hereby established as follows: Beginning at the center line of Swift's High- way and Carter Street, where the elevation of the grade is 300.80; thence on a uniform grade, 320.00feet where the elevation of the grade shall be, 276.57; thence 100 feet on a vertical curve, where the elevat- ion of the grade shall be, 268.44; thence 100 feet, on a vertical curve where the elevation of the grade shall be, 259.21; thence 380 feet on a uniform grade to the North property line of Fairacres Drive, where the elevation of the grade shall be, 222.00 SECTION. 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. SECTION. 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and aft r its passage and approval. AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE MONEY FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL 1933 FOR JUDGES AND CLERKS OF ELECTION. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION. I. There is hereby appropriated out of any money in the City Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of paying Election Judges and Clerks. There is hereby appropriated out of the Traffic and Vehicle b`und the sum of Six Hundred Fifty Dollars, said money to be used in payment for emergency relief work done in the rip-rapping of k. , Goose Creek between Madison and'Monroe Streets, said work having been performed during the Month of March.
