# 3544. AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARY OF STREET COMMISSIONER
AND FIXING THE SALARY OF CITY ENGINEER, AND REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT WITH THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The salary of the street oom issioner shall be twenty
five hundred dollars per year, payable in equal monthly install-
ments.
Section 2. The salary of the city engineer shall be twenty five
hundred dollars per year, payable in equal monthly installments.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances inn conflict with".,
this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance, when passed and approved, shall become
effective as of May 1•, 1933.

# 3545 AN ORDINA,ACE ACCEPTING CERTAIN DEED$ CONVEYING CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN WALMO PLACE AND SUNSET PLACE TO THE CITY OF JEFFERSON
MISSOURI, FOR STREET OR ROAD PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Cora Deaver a single person, by her quit claim deed
AAMA under date of April 10th. 1933, has conveyed to the city
of 3efferson certain real estate gs described in said deed for use
as a street or road, said land so conveyed being described as follow
" All of lot 98, and apart of lots 94, 959 96, and 97 Block 1
Sunset Place addition to the City of Jefferson, Missouri, that port-
g _ ion of the last above mentioned four lots, being more particularly
ddscribed as: Beginning at the Southwest corner of lot 94, Block 1,
Sunset Place addition; thence north along and with the west line of
said lot, 26 feet; thence in a northfesterly direction on a ten
degree and 24 minute curve to a point on the west line of lot 969
said point being 44 feet north of the southwest corner thereof;
thence turning to the lef ton curve with a 50 foot radius to the
north lineof Cole dvtve ; thence southeasterly along and with
the south line of Cole drive, to the northeasterly cornet of lot 979
block 1 of Sunset Pl,.ce Addition; thence south along said lot line
to the southeast corner of said lot; thence west along the south
line of lots 95,96,94 and 97 to the place of beginning.
The aforesaid strip of land is to be held by the party of the
second part for the purpose of use as a street and/or road.
Whereas, Florence Thomason and William Thpmason9 her husband
by their quit claim deed under date of April 10th. 19339 have
conveyed to the City of Jeffersont the following described property
" A roadway over a strip of land described as follows; A part of lot
92, .Block 1 of Sunset Place Addition to the City of Jefferson, Mo.
• described as follows; Beginning at the southwast corner of lot 92,
block 1, of Sunset Place; thence east along the south side of said
lot to the south-lest corner; thence north along the east line of
said l6t99 14 feet, thence in a southwesterly direction to the
point of beginning.
" Also a roadway over a strip of land described as follows; A part
of lmt 939 block 1, of Sunset Place addition to the city of Jeffetren
Missouri, described as follows; Beginning at the southwest corner
of lot 939 thence east along the south line of said lot to the
south east corner of said lot; thence north along the east line of
said lot 26 feet; thence in a northwesterly direction to a point
on the west line of said lot, said point being 14 feet north of the
$oillthwest corner of lot 93, thence south along and with the west
line of said lot, 14 feet to the place of .beginning.
