#3547 AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE MONEY FOTR THE MONTE OF
MAY 193;. .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON ,AS FOLLOWS.
Section 1, There is hereby appropriated out of any money in
the oity treasury not otherwise appropriated the following;
Revenue Fund--- For the purpose of paying 6alaries
of elective and appointive officers $4876.66
Traffic & Vehicle-- For the purpose of paying weekly wages,
of laborers,frieght & incidentals & 2300.00
salary Street Commissioner
Park Fund------ Fof the purpose of paying Bldg. & Loan 19.20
Section 20 This Ordinance shall take effeot and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.

#3548. AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL RULE # 16 OF THE MLES AND ORDER
OF BUSINESS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIM CITY OF JEFFERSON, AND TO
ENACT A NEW RULE TO BE KNOWN AS RULE 1T%0. 16.
WHEREAS, notice &f his intention to repeal and reenact rdle 16
of the RULES AND ORDER OF BUSINESS of the city council of the
city of Jefferson , was given by Mr, Chet Platt, on April 18,1933
the last meeting date of the city council. Now T'heref'ore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFEROS AS FOLLOWSt
Section 1. That rule Fo. 16 of the ruled and ordr of business of .
the city council of the city of Jefferson, approved Dec. 99 18899
be and the same is hereby repealed, and a new rule is hereby
adopted to be known as rule m #16 and to read as follows;
RULE 16. Unless by unanimous concent no bill, except appropriation
bills, shall be considred f orrfinal passage until the committee on
ordinances and printing shall have e:camined the same and reported
thatit is correctly written and punctuated and free from-all
gramatical and other erroes. Provided, further, that, except by
unanimous contend; no bill, except appropriation bi11s, sh411" a'e
considered for third reading and final passage at the same meeting
at which said billy is introduced and read the first time, and at
least forty eight hours shall intervene between the convening of
the council meeting at which said bill so failing of unanimous
concent is introduced, and the convening of a subsequent meeting
at which said bill shall be considered for final passage.
