Whenever any person, firm or corporation, not holding a license to engage in the cleaning and dyeing business at the time of the passage and approval of this ordinance, shall apply to the City Collector for a license to conduct the business of cleaning, dyeing and pressing, it shall be the duty of the City Collector to ingdire of the Building inspector if the provisions of this ordinance have been complied with by the applicant for the license. Thereupon it shall be the duty of the Building Inspector to ascertain if the applicant hqe complied with the provisions of this ordinance, and the Bulildin ins actor shall receive for such investigation the sum of two (92.00 dollars , to be paid out of the general revenue fund of- the city. Upon report by 11he Building inspector to the City Collector that the provisions of this ordinance have been complied with the City Collector, upon the payment of the required fee, shall issue said license. Section 13. An.* person, firm or corporation to which this ordinance applies, who shall fail or refusb to comply with the provisions herewith, or who shall violate any of the provisions hereof, stiall be de med guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punsbhed by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in jail form not more than three months , or by both such fine and imprisonment. The imposition of one penalty for any violation of this ordinance shall not excuee the violation, or permit it to continue; and all such persons shall be required to correct or remedy such violations or defects within a reasonable time; each ten days that prohibited conditions are maintained shall constitute a seperate offence. AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SEWER DUSTRICT NUMBER 60, WITHIN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AND DEFINING THE BOUNDERIES THEFMOF, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINAN CBS OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT WITH THIS ORD INAN CE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the city council of the city of Jefferson , Mo. hereby declares that it deems it necessary for sanitary purposes and for the health and comfort of its inhabitants of the city to establish a sewer district,, to be known as Sewer District number 50; said district to be established with location and boundaries as f old; Beginning a* a point on the township line dividing townships 44 and 45 , 'said beginning point being 687.0 feet ea,st of the east line of/olf Forest Hill Addition:; thence south parallel with the east line of Forest Hill Addition 737.2 feet; thence east parallel with town- ship line 200.00 feet to the Boonville road; thence northeasterly to the northwesterly corner of lot 4, block 1 of Sunset Place Addition; thence easterly to the northeasterly corner of said lot; thence south to the southeasterly corner of lot 1. Block 1, of Sunset PlaceAddition; thence east parallelw with the township- line 5.0 feet; thence south 3 1/2 degrees eaks(Magnetic) 625.0 feet, more or less, to a point that is 200 feet north of the north line of the Ten Mile Drive, if the same is measured at right angles thereto; thence easterly parallel with the Ten Mile Drive to the westerly line of the General Realty Companys Subdivision; thence northerly along the westerly line of the general Realty Companys subdivision, and the easterly line of a 30m foot roadway to the south line of Sunset Place Addition; thence east along the south line of Sunset Place Addition to the southeast corner of said addition; thence north along the eatt lime of said addition to the southerly right of way line of the Missouri Pacific Railway; thence along said southerly line of said right of way J;o the westerly line of Sunset -Place Addition; thence southerly along the westerly line of said addition to the easterly line of the Boonville Road;, thence southerly along the easterly line of the Boonville Road to the town- ship line; thence westerly to the point of beginning. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in eonflictwith this ordinance ate hereby repealed.
