SECTION 29 For the purpose of paying for said improvements
of said roadways of Hoofer Lane, River Lane, Pierce Street, and Hough N*XA
Streets beginning at the intersection of Hoofer Lane and High Street; ttta
thence northerly along the roadway of Hoofer Lane to River Lane, beginning
at the intersection of River Lane and Hoofer Lane; thence easterly along
the roadway of River Lane to Pierce Street; beginning a:� the intersection
of Pierce Street and River Lane; thence southerly along the roadway of
Pierce Street to Hough Street, beginning at the intersection of Hough Sit
Street and River Lane; thence easterly along the roadway of Hough Street
to Grant Street, all in District Number 4 of the City of Jefferson
Missouri, there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of $0.30 as a
special tax against each front foot of ground fronting or abutting the
said roadways of the said streets aforesaid , and contained in such lots
or pieces of ground fronting or abutting said improved roadways of said
streets aforesaid.
SECTION 3. The name of each property owner or owners and .the
description of each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting on each
side of Hoofer Lane, River Lane, Pierce Street, Hough Street,Beginning
at the intersection of Hoefer Lane and High Street; thence northerly along
the roadway of Hoefer Lane to River Dane, beginning at the intersection
of River Lane and Hoofer Lane; thence easterly along the roadway of
River Lane to Pierce Street, beginning at the intersection of Pierce Strei
and River Lane; thence southerly along the roadway of Pierce Street
to Hough Streets beginning at the intersection of Hough Street and River
' Lane; thence easterly along the roadway of Hough Street to Grant Street
all in Distriejr No. 4 of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the number of
front feet owned by each owner or owners and contained in the lots or
tracts of land so owned and abutting said blocks or streets, the cost
price perfront foot for said improvement and the amount hereby levied
and assessed as a special tax bill for said improvement agairist each
lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting said roadways of said stre(k
aforesaid is as follows;
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to make out
special tax bills in favor of the contractor, CITY OF JEFFERSON,MISSOURI
for the within wof'k in accordance of the City of Jefferson, Xissourip
relative to said kind of work and in accordance with the Charter of said
City in regard to said work, and in accordance with the Statues of the
State of Missouri, as made and provided.
SECTION 5e This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
sand after its passage and approval.

3581 AN ORDINANCE TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR OF THE C I`1'Y OF JEF B CU
TO EXECUTE CERTAIN PIPE LINE LICENSE CONTRACT WITH THE TRUSTEES OF
THE MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD COMpANy.
WHEREAS, in the construction of sewer District Number 50
In the City of Jefferson, it is neccesary to lay and place a sewer
pipe underneath the tracks of the Missouri Pacific Railroad near the
outlet of said newer at the Missouri River; and
WHEREAS, L. W. Baldwin and Guy A. Thompson,. Trustee of the
Missouri Pacific Railroad Company, have prepared and submitted to the
City of Jefferson, under date of October 2nd. 0933, a certain pipe
line licenses authorising the City of Jefferson to conitamet and
maintain said sewer pipe underneath the tracks of the Missouri Pacific
Railroads as described in plat designed as EXHIBIT "A" and attached .
