# 3591 An ordinance levying and assessing a special tax bill
against the lots or tracks of land fronting or abutting on the roa-
dwigw of Jordan Street from Ella Street south 150 feet in the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, for the Improvement of the said roadway
by grading, curbing and paving with cement concrete material.
Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Jefferson, as follows;
SECTION I. There is herebjr levied and assessed at the rate and
cost price per front foot as spedified in Section 2 of this
ordinance, against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting or
abutting on the roadway of Jordan Street from Ella Street south I50
feet in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement of
the roadway Jordon Street aforesaid, including such grading as may
be necessary for the reception of a cement sidewalk, the sump of
$ 896.24 as the total costs of the improvement of said street and
the number of front feet fronting or abutting said roadway of said
Jordon street aforesaid, between the aforesaid streets amount to
300 running feet; the cost price per running foot is $ 2,7358 plus
$0.25 per lin. foot for cement concrete curb.
SECTION 2.. For the purpose of paying said improvem5nt of said
roadway of Jordon Street from Ehla Street south 150 feetthere is
hereby levied and assessed the sum of $2.7358 as a special tax
against each front foot of ground fronting or abutting said roadway
of Jordon street between the lfotedgi4i-streets, and contained in
such lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting said improved
roadway of said Jordon Street from Ella Street south 150 feet.

Section 3. the name of each.property owner or owners and the
description of each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting on
each side of Jordon Street from Ella Street south 150 feet and the
number of front feet owned by each owners and contained in the lots
or tracts of land so owned and abutting said block or street between
the aforesaid street and the cost price per front foot for said
improvement and the amount hereb.* levied and assessed as a special
tax for said improvement against each lot or piece of ground front ing
or abutting said Jordon street or the roadway from the center of #
the intersection of Jordon street Ella Street to a point 150 feet
south of Ella Street.
SECTION 4. That the City Clem is hereby instructed to make out
special tax bills in favor of the contractor Louis Wolff for the
within mentioned work in accordances of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, relative to said kind of work and in accordance with the s
loarter of said City in regard to said w6rk.
SECTION 59 This ordinance shall take effect and be- in force from
and after its passage and approval.
