A #3594 AN ORDINANCE TO PROHIBIT PARKING OF REHICLES ON MONROE
STREET T. •!`
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON AS FOLLOWS:

Sec. I. It is hereby declared unlawful for any person to park
any vehicle on the east side of Monroe Street within a distance
of 24 feet north of the intersection of High Street and Monroe Street;.
Sec. 2. Immediatly upon the passage and approval of this ordinance
it shall be the duty of the street commissionar to erect a proper
sign giving notice to the public that parking is prohibited.
Sec. 3 Any person violating the terms of this ordinance shall
be deemed. guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be
u punished by a fine of not less than three dollars nor more than
one hundred dollars.

SECTION I. It is hereby declared unlawful to park any vehicle on
the south side of High Street for a distance of twenty—three feet
east of the intersection of High Street and Adams Street.
