# 3604 AN ORDINANC {, TO THE CITY WATER SUPPLY AND REQYIRING
CONSTANT SUPERVISION THEREOF BY THE BOARD OF HEALTH FOR
THE PURPOSE OF INSURING A SAFE QUALITY OF WATER BL DISPENSED
IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON.
BE ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFI+;RSON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I . it is hereby made the duty of the Board of Health
of Jefferson City to exercise a constant supervision over the water
supply furnished to said City by the Capital City :later Company,
and such constant supervision shall be conducted to insure a safe
quality of water being dispenced by said Capital City 'later Company.
SECTION ". The City Physican as a member of the Board of
Health shall make, or have made, bagterological tests of the
treated water furnished by the said Capital City Water Company to the
consumers of Jefferson City, and said tests shall be made at least
once each week, and a report of the findings or results of said
bacteriological tests shall be made to the City Council at each
regular meeting thereof. The City Physican shall make such report.
SECTION #. Said bacterialogical tests of the water supply
shall be made in accordance with the standard methods prescribed
by the American Public Health Assocajrion, and any expense incident
to the making of said tests shall be paid out of the revenue
fund of the City of Jefferson on the presentation of voucher
approved by the said City Board of Health.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in firce and effect
from and after its passage and approval.

# 3605 -AN ORDINANCE DEFINING THE BU ISNESS OF A HUCKSTER, FIXING A
-LICENSE TAX ON HUCKSTERS, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT WITH THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWSt
SECTION I. For the purpose of this ordinance, the term
"Huckster" shall be deemed to mean a person, firm partnership
or corporation, going about from place to place in the City of
Jefferson, selling or offering for sale agricultural products
not raised or produced by tbLe seller or employer of the seller.
SECTION 2. Any person, ° firm- partnership or corporation,
before engaging in the occupation or buisness of a huckster in
the City of Jefferson, shall first obtain ftrom the CityCo1leetor •!,•:.n
a license., authorising hom, they of it to engr.ge in the buisness
of huckstering, and the yearly license for such Buisness shall
be Fifty Dollars, payable in advance.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed.
