who shall engage in the buisness of a huckster, without first
having obtained a license as herein provided, shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by
a fine of not to exceed one hundred dollars, or imprisoment in
jail not to exceed three months, or by both such fine and impri-
soment, and every day such. buisness shall continue without a
license shall be deemed a seperate offense.

1 3606 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE GRADE OF THE ROADWAY OF THE ALLEY
IN THE BLOCK BETWEEN MADISON, JEFFERSON DUNKLIN AND ELF STREETS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON ,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWSa
SECTION I. That the grade line of the roadwa*
of the alley in the block between Madison, Jefferson, Dunklin and
Elm Streets, in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, be and is hereby
established as follows; Beginning at the center of the intersection
of the alley and the west gutter on Madison Street, -where the FJM
elevation of the grade is 141.70; thence on a uniform grade one
hundred feet, where the elevation of the grade shall be I41.00;
thence fifty feet on a vertical curve, where the elevation of the
grade shall be 138.70; thence fifty feet on a vertical curve where
the elevation of the grade shall be I32.00; thence fifty feet on a
vertical curve. where the elevation of the grade shall be 125.15;
thence fifty feet on a vertical curve, where the elevation of the
grade shall be 122.60; thence thirty feet on a vertical curve, where
the elevation of the grade shall be 123.00 thence thirty feet on a
vertical curve, where the elevation of the grade shall be 125.00;
thence ninety feet on a Uniform grade, where the elevation of the
grade shall be 134.00; thence nine feet to the east gutter line on
Jefferson Street, where the elevation of the grade shall be 134.00.
SECTION 2. All Ordinances or parts of
Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect
and be in f6rce from and after its passage and approval.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of any money in
the City Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the following;
