# 3609 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A DRIVEWAY TEN FEET IN WIDTH ALONG
THE NORTH SIDE OP A PUBLIC PARK IN PARK PLACE.
BE ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON AS FOLLOWSt
SECTION 1. That a driveway ten feet in width is hereby
established along a public park in Park Place, a driveway, to wit;
A strip ten feet in width off the north side of the area
marked "Park" in Park Place and more particularly described
as follows;—Beginning at the southwesterly corner of
Park Avsaue and Olive Street, thence southerly along the
westerly line of Olive Street ten feet. thence westerly
parallel with Park Avenue to the easterly line of Pine
Street, thence northerly along and with the easterly- line
of Pine Street to the Southerly line of Park Avenue
to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval*

36I0 An ORDINANCE TO PROHMBIT THE PARKIITG OF VEHICLES AT CERTAIN
PLACES ON HIGH STREET AND FIXING A PENALTY FCR THE VIOLATION
OF THIS ORDINANCE, AND RPEEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT WITH THIS ORDINANCE.

SECTION. I It is hereby declared unlawful to park or stand any
vehicle to any of the following described spaces ;
J (I) On the North side of High Street for a distance of fifty
feet West of the Adams Street Curb.
i (2) On the South Side of High Street for a distance of fifty
feet West of the Adams Street curb.
(3) On the North side of High Street for a distance of forty
five -feet East of the Yonroe Street curb.
(4) On the South side of High Street for a distance of thirty—
five feet East of the v ashington Street curb.
(5) On the North ,side of High Street for a distance of thirty—
y five feet East of the intersection of High and Washington Streets.

SECTION 2. Immediatley after the passage and approval
of this ordinance, the Missouri Power and Light Company shall
have the right and privilege to erect proper signs to notify
the public that parking of vehicles is prohibited in the
spaces mentioned in this ordinance.
SPOTION 3. all ordinances or parts of ordinances that
conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. Any person violating the terms of this ordinance
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction,
shall be punished with a fine of not less than three Dollars
(03.00) and not more than One Hundred Dollars (I00.00) .
