RESOLUTION OF CITY OF RICHLAND HILLS AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A PROJECT
APPLICATION WITH THE NCTCOG FOR A REGIONAL SOLID WASTE PROGRAM LOCAL
PROJECT; AUTHORIZING RUBY DILLON TO ACT ON BEHALF OF CITY OF RICHLAND
HILLS WILL COMPLY WITH THE PROJECT REQUIREMENTS OF THE NCTCOG, THE
TEXAS NATURAL RESOURCE CONSERVATION COMMISSION AND THE STATE OF TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the North Central Texas Council of Governme><rts is directed by the Texas Natural Resource
Conservation Commission to administer solid waste project funds for implementation the COG'S adopted
regional solid waste management plan; and
WHEREAS, City of Richland Hills in the State of Texas is qualified to apply for project funds under the
Request for Projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY CITY OF RICHLAND HILLS IN RICHLAND HILLS,
TEXAS;
1. That Ruby Dillaa><, Keep Richland Hills Beautiful coordinator, is authorized to request project funding
under the North Central Texas Council of Governmerrts' Request for Projects ofthe Regional Solid
Waste Local Project Funding Program and ad on behalf of City of Richland Hills in all matters related
to the project application and any subsequent project contract and project reports that may result.
• 2. That if the project is funded, City of Richland Hills will comply with the project requirements ofthe
North Central Texas Council of Govemmetrts, Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission and
the State of Texas.
3. The project funds and any project-fundexl equipmant or facilities will be used only for the purposes for
which they are intended under the project.
4. That activities will comply with and support the adopted regional and local solid waste management
plans adopted for the geographical area in which the activities are performed.
PASSED AND APPROVED by Richland Hills City Council in Richland Hills, Tarrant County, Texas, on
this the 8t'' day of January, 2002.
