3630 AN ORDINANCE TO PROHIBIT -PARKIHG OF VEHICLES ON THE
� SOUTH SIDE OF HIGH STREET FOR A DISTANCE OF ONE HUNDRED FIFTY
. TWO FEET EAST FROM THE INTERSECTION OF WASHINGTON AND HIGH STREETS
DURING CERTAIN HOURS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY- THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS
FOLLOWS t

Section 1. Ot is hereby declared unlawful for any person
to park any vehicle on the. South side of High Street for a
distance of one hundred fifty-two (152) East from the inter tion
of High a d Washington Streete, betweed the hours of sevem.,
and seven P.M. of each day, said restricted space being adjacent
to the new Federal Post Office building located At the corner of
' High and.Washington Streets*
Section 2. Any person violating the terms of this Ordinance
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction,
shall be punished by a fine of not less than Three Dollars,
V.00j and not more than One Hundred Dollars, (100.00).

OIL PUBLIC WORKS FOR GRANT ONDFUNDS TO BE USED IN THE ERECTION OF TWO
FIRE STATIONS AND IN THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE CITY HALE, END
RMPEALING. ALL 07MR PRIOR ORDINANCES INSOFAR AS THEY CONFLICT.
WITH THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, heretofore the city of Jefferson under authority of
Ordinance No. 3 00
z � , passed and approved December 4. 1933 directed . � r
the Mayor of the City of Jefferson to make application to . the ;`.
Federal Emerge�bcy Administration of Public Works for loan an
,S grant in the sum of twenty thousand dollars, and thirty-five thousand
dollars, for the purpose of erecting a fire station and. improving
the city hall in Jefferson City, and
WHEREAS, thereafter, to-wit on February 5th. 1934 by Ordinance
No. 36259 The Mayor of the City of Jefferson was directed .to
make ,application ,for loan and grant in the suet of thirty-five
! thousand dollars for the purpose of erecting TWO fire statione,
and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 3625 contemplated the same amount of
loan and gmn* as was contemplated by Ordinance No. 3600 but
contemplated the building of two fire stations rather than one
fire station, as originally planned, and
WHEREAS, the application heretofore filed with the Federal
A.dminisfrration of k'ublic Works, requested the loan Ft b ve st ted,
