# 3635 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE GRADE OF THE ROADWAY OF X
THE ALLEY RUNNING IN A NORTHERLY AND SOU'T'HERLY DIRECTION IN THE
BLOCK BETWEEN HIGH, MC CARTY, HA1G-IN AND BERRY. STRIMTS. ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ZWFERSON s
MISSOTJR1, AS FOLLOWS i
SECTION 1. That the grade line of the roadwa,*
of the alley running in a northerly and sourherly directio# in
the block between High,mc earty, hamlin and berry streets, in k
the City of Jefferson, Missouri, be and is here established as
follows;
Beginning at the gutter line on Me Carty Street, where the z
elevation of the grade is, 142.76; thence along the center line
of said alley 234 feet on a uniform grade where -the elevation
of the grade shell be, 155.37; thence 10 feet. there the elevaton
of the grade shall be, 1.55.60; thence 206 feet on a uniform
grade where the elevation of the grade shall be, 174.06 thence
18 feet on a wervdcal curve to the south edge of the gu ter on
High Street, .where the elevation of the grade is., 174.80.6
SECTION 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage and approval.

# 3636 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING GRANT AGREEMENT ON SEER DISTRICT
NUMBER FIFTY-fFIVE, BETWEEN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, COLE COUNTY,
MISSWRI, PARTY OF THE FIRST PART,AND THE UNITED STATES OF
.]ERICA, PARTY' OF THE SECOND PART, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF
THE CITY OF JEFFERSON TO EXECUTE SAID AGREENENT FOR AND ON BMULF
OF THE CITY OF JEFRERSON, MISSOURI,
AREAS, heretofore the City of Jefferson, Missouri, has
applied to the federal emergency Administration of Public Works
for a goant of thirty per cent. (30%) of the, cost of labor and
materials to be used in the construction of sewer district number
fifty—five in the City of Jefferson, said application bearing
P.W.A. docket number 4936. and.
WHEREAS, said Federal Emergency Administration of Public
Works has advised the City of Jefferson that said application is
approved for a sum not to exceed One Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars,
(1,700.00)9 and,
WHEREAS' said Fedeeal Emergency Administration of Public
Works has submitted to said City of Jefferson five copies of a
certain grant agreement relating to the grant applied for in aid
of sewer district number fifty-five.
NOW THEREFOR, BE 11 ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWSs
SECTION 1. That the City of Jefferson, Missouri, hereby
adopts and approves said grant agreement the City of Jefferson,
tole County, missouri, and the United States of America, insofar
as it relates to rant not to exceed One Thousand SeveMundred
Dollars (1,7'00.001 to be used in paying thirty per cent, (30%0
of the cost of labor and material used in the construction of
sewer district number fifty—five, Said City of Jefferson further
adopts all other prbvisionsF of said grant agreement and pledges
