HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD03647 # 3645 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE GRADE OF THE ROADWAY OF THE ALLEY IN THE BLOCK BETWEEN MADISON, JEFFERSON, DUN&LIN AND ELM STREETS, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN NM CONFLICT WITH THIS ORDINANCE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THR CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISNBUS AS FOLLOWSt SECTION I. That the grade line of the roadway of the ally In the block between Madison, Jefferson, Dunklin and Elm Streets, be and is hereby established as follows; Beginning at the center of the intersection of the alley and the west gutter on Madison Street,where the elevation of the grade is, 142.00; thence 20 feet on a uniform grade where the .elevation of them grade shall be, 142.55; thence 25 feet on a vertical curve, where the elevation of the grade shall be, 143.00; thence25 fee� �o���n�,� vertical curve where the elevation of the grade shall be, 142.60;,�i`eet on a uniform grade where the elevation o of the grade shall be, 141.37; thence 25 feet on a vertical curve where the elevation of the grade shall be 140.00; thence 25 feet on a vertical curve where the elevation of the grade shall be 137.00; thence 75 feet on a uniform grade where the elevation of the grade shall be, 126.50; thence 25 feet on a vertical curve where the elevation of the grade shall be, 123.75; thence 25 feet on a vertical curve where the elevation of the grade shall be, 122.50; thence 25 feet on a vertical curve where the elevation of the grade shall be, 222.4; thence 25 feet on a vertical curve where the elevation of the grade shall be, 123.25; thence 75 feet on a uniform grade where the elevation of the grade shall be, 127.00; thence 50 feet on a uniform grade where the elevation of the grade shall be, 134.00; thence 8 feet to the east gutter line on Jefferson Street, where the elevation of the grade is 134oGO . SECTION 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,AS FOLLOW9t 4. E SECTION I. Duplicate copies of automobile license stickers may be obtained from the City Collector upon satisfactory proof of the destruction or loss of the original sticker, upon the payment of the sum of twenty five cents, SECTION 2. Whenever the original sticker is destroyed, or the windshield on which said sticker is 11laced is broken, and itis necessary to install a new windshield, or upon the sale of a motor vehibe carrying a city license, the City, Collector may, upon satisfactory, proof of any of the above facts, issue U duplicate license sticker in accorda- nce with Section 1. of this ordinance. SECTION 3. Satisfactory proof shall be deemed to be the exhibiting, to said City Collector, of suctt portion of the license sticker as will sisclose that the original license is destroyed or no longer usuable. SECTION 4. City license stickers shall not be transferrable from one owner to another, and may be only used upon automobiles actually owned by the purchaser of said license. z
