HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD03650 First; For the purpose of paying all current expenses of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the Fiscal Year, the sum of 60 cents on the One hundred Dollar Valuation, Second; For the purpose of paying the interest on the outstanding bonds of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and for the purpose of creating 'a sinking fund to retire the outstanding bonds of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the sum of 25 cents on the One Hundred Dollar Valuation. Third; For the Purpose of establishing and maintaining a free Public Library in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the sum of 5 cents on the One Hundred Dollars Valuation. SECTION 2. It shall be the duty of the City Clerk to cause to be extended in the appropriate column, ppposite each item of the taxable property on the Assessement book, as returned by the Assessor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and corfeeted by the County Board Of Equalization, the amount of taxes requi:ured to be paid by each person assessed, as provided by Section 1 of this ordinance. SECTION 3. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. . SECTION. 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its approval.
