FEET FIRE HOSE.
BE IT ORD. INED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEF + 4RSON AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby appropriated out of the revenue fund
the sum of .'1200.00 dollarsto be used in payment for one thousand
feet fire hose, and the f6re board is hereby authorized to purchase said
hose, and upon order of said fire board, the city clerk is authorized
to draw warrent to the proper party in the above amount in payment for
said hose.

STREETS:
'NHEREAS the property abutting Locust street on the west between
1a;ic Carty stye et and 1:iiller street, is owned by the United States
Goverment, and is used as a national cemetery, abd
tiVHEREAS, the City is advised that the United States Goverment will
not at this time agree to pay any portion of the cost of improving
and surfacing the street aforesaid, and
1151EREAS the Council deems it necessary that said street be improved
NOW THEREFOR,
BE IT ORD. INED 3Y ^1HI' COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That for the purpose of defraying one-half the cost
of improving and surfacing Locust street, between Mc Carty and Miller
streets, as may hereafter be provided by ordinance, there
is hereby appropriated out of the Traffic and Vehicle Fund the
sun of Two Thoiisu,nd and Seven Dollars.
