BE IT Offl)AINFD BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
XISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That it is hereby declared that the City Council of the
City of Jefferson, A,Iissouri. deems it necessary and expedient to vacate
and discontinue a portion of Miller Street between Block 3 and 4 of
Wolff's Subdivision of a part of the N * of the Northeast quarter of
Section 12 Township 44 Range 12, and more particularly described as;
Beginning at :the Northwesterly corner of lot, 3 Block 3 Pf
Wolff's Subdivision; thence south along the east line of Miller Stree
to the right of way line of the Missouri Pacific Railway; thence in
a. westerly direction along and with said right of way to the west
line of Miller Street; thence north along the west lind mom of
Miller Street to a point on the extended north line of Block 3 of ko
Wolff"s Subdivision; thence east to the point of beginning, the
owners of the property abutting on and adjacent to that said portion of
Miller Street, having petitioned said City Council to vacate and
discontinue that portion of Miller Street as a part of the public
thoroughfare of said City; said street is hereby forever vacated and
discontinued as a public thoroughfare and the power and right of
reversion of said street to the adjacent and abutting owners as is VxKX
provided by the statutes of the State of Missouri, is hereby fully
conformed, ratified and approved and the Mayor of this City is Hereby a ,.
aythorized and directed to execute and deliver all proper writings.

and completely establish and guarantee to the adjacent and abutting
property owners their legal rights in connection with the above
vacation of said portion of said street.
Section 2. This Ordinance .shall take effect and be in full force
from and mkdxx after its passage and approval.

3689 AN ORDINANCE TO REQUIRE DRIVERS OF VEHICL}�S TO BRING SAID
VEHICLES TO. A FULL STOP AT CERTAIN PLACES.
BE IT ORDI,INED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFkTERSON AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Drivers or operators of vehicles shall bring said v
vehicles to a full stop at the following alley and street
intersections, to—wit; - .
In the alley running east and west between High Street and Mc Car
Street, and parallel with said streets, drivers shall bring vehicles . `t
toa, full stop immediately before driving from said alley into either
Monroe Street, Madison Street or Jefferson Street.
In the alley running east and west between High Street and Capitol
Avenue, and parallel with said streets, drivers shall bring vehicles
to a full stop immediately before driving from said alley into either
Monroe Street, Madison Street or Jefferson Street.
Section 2. any person driving a, vehicle and failing to observe the
provisions of this ordinance, or who violates any of the provisions
of this ordinance, shall be deemed guilty of a, misdemeanor, and upon
conviction shall be punished by a fine of not less than three dollars
nor more than one hundred dollars.
