SECTION 1. Whereas, it was heretofore found and
declared by the City Council, by its resolution, passed and app-
roved on December 3, 1934 necessary to mutter and curb
with cement concrete material
the roadway of Locust Street in the block from the
center of the intersection of Me Carty Street
and Locust* Street to the center of the inter-
secticn of Miller Street and Locust Street
and it appearing to the City Council that said resolution
has been duly published according to the lava fcr more than
seven (7) consecutive inse2•tions , in the Jefferson City
Post Tribune, , a daily newspaper, printed and published in t
the City of Teffe:l-son, Missouri, and a majority of the resident
owners of property alongsaid section of Locust Street
liable for the costs of said improvement, and who own a majority
of the front feet on said Locust Street intended to be
improved, have not filed with the City Clerk a protest ag,.inst
s.�.id contemplated improvement.
SECTION .2. That the said road of Locust Street
be guttered and curbed with cement concrete material
in accordance with the plans and specifications submitted by
the City Engineer and filed in the office of the City Clerk,
and that the total cost, of the work aforesn.id shall be charged
