��SECTION 1. It is hereafter decl-.red unlawful for an person, firm or

corporation to enga.r;e in the tiiork, business or occupation of
gathering up and haulinfT garbage and refuse, vegetable and animal
matter, in the City of Jefferson, and transporting said garb,,.ge and
refuse, vegetable and animal matter from place to place in Jefferson
City or from Jefferson City to points outside of Jefferson City, unless
such person, firm or corporation shall first have obtained a. permit
so to do from the Citv Board of Health. .
SECTION 2. It is hereby declared the duty of the City Board of Health,
to inspect the equipment to be used in the transportation of garbage
and refuse, vegetable and animal matter from place to place in
Jefferson City, 11issouri , or from Jefferson City to points outside
of Jefferson City, and to determine whether or not said equipment
commies ire all things with Ordinance 3432 of the City of Jefferson.
SECTION 3. An ap_ralicant for pertiit to haul garbage '-,nd refuse,

in writing- to the City Board of Health upon forms to be furnished by
