SECTION. 2. That the said road of Madaline Street be curbed and guttered where necessary with cement concrete material in accordance with the plans and specifications submitted by the City Engineer and filed in the office of the City Clerk, and that the total cost of the work aforesaid shall be charged and levied as a special assessment against the real estate abutting and fronting on said contemplated improvement, and special tax bills shall be issued therefor as provided in the City Charter, and in Section 822, 8239 8249 and 825 of Chapter 44 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, 1925 and of the Revised Statutee of the State of Missouri, 19199 and amend- ments thereto. SECTION. 3. The City Engineer is hereby instructed to advertise for bids for this improvement. SECTION. 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and After its passage and approval. There is hereby appropriated out of the Revenue fund the sum of $50.00 .for the purpose of paying the registration fee on the $50,000.00 issue of Ourrent Revenue bonds to be issued by the City. SECTION. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to issue a warrant in pursuance to the foregoing section. SECTION. 3. That each of the said bonds shall be executed by the signature of the Mayor, attested by the signature of the City Olerk,. .under the corporate seal, of the City, and the interest coupons to be attached to said bonds, evidencing the interest to accrue thereon, shall be executed by the lithographed fac-simile signature of said City Clerk. The said bonds and interest coupons shall be in substan- tially the following form, to-wits UNITED STAIMS OF AMERICA STATE OF MISSOURI COUNTY OF COLE CITY OF JEFFERSON CITY CURRENT REVENUE BOND, 1935 Ito. • $5,000.00 The of Jefferson City, in the County of vole, State of Missouri, hereby acknowledges itself to owe and, for value received, promises to pay to bearer the sum of FIRE THOUSAND DOLLARS (55,000.00) on the 31st day of March, 1938, with interest thereon at the rate of four per centum (4%) per annum, payable on the first day of October, 19359 and on the 31st day of March, 1936, upon presentation and surrender of the annexed interest coupons as they respectively become due. The City of Jefferson City reserves the right, at its option, to call in , . pay and redeem this bond at any time upon the payment of the principal hereof, together with interest aadrues to the date of redem- ption. Provided, however, that notice of the exercise of such o tion shall be given to the State Auditor of Missouri at least, thirty p(30) days in advance of the date aet for such redemption, as required by Section 2914, Revised Statutes of Missouri, 1929. Both principal of and interest on this bond are payable in lawful money of the United States of America, at the office of the City Treasurer in the City of Jefferson City, Missouri. This bond is one of a series of ten (10) bonds, numbered from One (i)to Ten (10) 9 both inclusive, all of like date, denomination, maturity tenor,and effect, aggregating Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) 9 issued under the authority of Section 6788, Revised Statutes of Missouri, 1929, and pursuant to Ordinances and proceedings of the City Council of said City, for the purpose of providing funds for Current expenses of said. City in anticipation of the collection of the current revenue for the fiscal year ending March 31st, 1936. The said bonds are payable, both as to principal and interest, solely and only from the current revenues of said, City for the fiscal year aforesaid. It is hereby certified, recited and represented that all acts, conditions and things necessary and required to be done precedent to and in the issuance of this bond in order to make the sameal.egal, valid and binding obligation of the said City, have been done, have happened and have been performed in regular and due form, time and manner as required by law; that due provision has been made for the collection of the revenues of said City for the fiscal year ending March 31st, 1936; that a sufficient amount, of the said current revenues has been appropriated to pay the interest on this bond as it falls due and to pay the principal hereof at maturity; and that the issue of bonds of which this bond is one does not exceed one-half (-J) of the current revenues of said City for the fiscal year above mentioned IN TESTIMONY WHEIU;OF, the City of iWferson City, Missouri, has executed this bond by causing it to be eigned by the Mayor of said City attested by the City Clerk, under the corporate seal of said City, and has caused the annexed interest coupons to be executed by the lithographed
