STREETS, AND ABUTTING 100 FEET IN FRONT OF LOT a SUBDIVISION OF INLOT
396 OWNED BY JOSEPHINE SCHAPER.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS=
SECTION. I. That a sidewalk of cement concrete material, Five feet
in width, six inches back from fkoe of curb, on the South side of Main
Street, between Ash and Chestnut Streets, and abutting 100 feet in front
of lot 8 Subdivision of Inlot 3960 owned by Josephine achaper, be
constructed and built within thirty days from the service of a copy of
this Ordinance on the owner of the property hereinabove described.
SECTION. 2. Within two days after the passage of this Ordinance,
the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the City Marshal a certified
copy of this Ordina.nce,amd said City Marshal shall serve or cause to be
served a copy of this Ordinance on the owner or owners above mentioned,
by delivering a copy hereof to said owner or owners or by leaving it
with some member of his family over the age of 15 years, ma.kiug his
return on another copy of said Ordinance, which copy shall be filed in
the office of the City Clerk.
SECTION. 3. In the event the owner or woners above named fail to
construct said sidewalk as above directed, then the City of Jefferson,
under the power and authority given it by its charter and ordinances,
will construct said sidewalk and will issue a special tax bill against
said property for the Cost of the construction of said sidewalk, which
fhich said special tax bill will be a lien against the property above
described.
SECTION. 4. This Ordinance shall take effect, and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.

OF CURB, ON THE EAST SIDE OF OLIVE ST + +T, BETWEEN HIGH STREET AND MAIN
STREETS, AND ABUTTING 15 FEET IN FRONT OF LOT 39 SUBDIVISION OF OUTLOTu
42 AND 43 OWNED BY JOSE PH H. LIVI1dGSTON.
k' BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:

in width, six inches back from face of curb, on the Fast side of Olive
Street, between High Street and Main Streets, and abutting 15 feet in
front of lot 39 Oubdivision of Outlots 4.2 and 43 owned by Joseph H.
Livingston be constructed and built, within thirty days from the service
of a copy of this Ordinance on the owner of the property 1jeroinabove r'
described.
SECTION. 2. Within two days after the passage of this Ordinance,
the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the City Marshal a certified
