SECTION, I . That sidewalk of cement concrete ma.ter.ial, Four feet
in width, 1/2 feet back from face of curb, on the South side of
Atchison Street, between Yoreau Drive and Dockery Strc;cts, and abutting
10 feat in front of lot 1 block 1 Ferguson Place, owned by Cletus V.
Zuber, be constructed Land built aithin thirty days from the service of
a. cony of this Ordinance on the owner of the property hey einabove
described.
SEMC 1. 2. JYith.in two days after the po.sua Ce of this Ordinance,
the City C1(.rk shall place i:: the hands of the City La.rshal a Certified
copy of this Crdinance, and said City Marshal shall serve or c,-use to
be se:'ved u cony of this Ordinance on the Oviner or owners above men-
tioned, by d.elivering E,. copy hereof to said owner or ovmers or by
leaving it with some member of his f(::,mily over the a..ge of 15 years ,
m4.Icing his return on another co-py of said Ordinance, which copy shall
be filed in the ofi'ice of the City Clerk.
SECTION. 3. In the event the owner or owners above nouned fail to
construct said sidewalk as above directed, then the City of Jefferson,
under the power and authority given it by its charter --nd ordinances,
will construct said sidewalk and will issue a s-pecial te.x bill against
said property for the cost of the construction of said sidewalks which
said special tax bill will be a. lien against the property above described.
SECTION. 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and a-pnrova.l.
