SECTION. I . That a sidewalk of cement concrete material, Four feet
in widths three feet back from face of curb on the West side of
Moreau Drive between Fairmount Blvd. , and Vineyard Square and abutting
400 feet on Moreau Drive owned by W. H. Mueller, be constructed and
built within thirty drys frcm the service of e. copy of this Ordinance
on the owner of the property hereinabove described.
SECTION. 2. Within two days after the passage of this Ordinance,
the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the City Marshal a certified
Copy of tb6s Ordinance, and said City Marshal shall serve or cause to
be served a copy of this Ordinance on the ownerfor owners mentioned,
by delivering a copy hereof to said owner or owners or by leaving it
with some member of his family over the age of 15 years, ipaking his
return on another copy of said Ordinance, which copy shall be filed in
the office of the City Clerk.
SECTION. 3. In the event the owner or owners above named fail to
construct said sidewalk as above directed, then the City of Jefferson,
under the power and authority given it by its charter and Ordinances,
will construct said sidewalk and wi&l issue a special tax bill against
r said property for the cost of the construction of said sidewalk,
which said special tax bill will be a lien against the property above
described.
SECTION. 4, This Ordinance shall take effect rind be in force from
and after its passage and approval.

BE IT ORD&INED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,AS FOLLOWSt

80.19 Feet on Moreau Drive owned by Ernest S. Gantt and Helena P. Gantt
be constructed and built within thirty days from the service of a copy
of this Ordinance on the owner of the property hereinabove described.
